Materials & Ingredients: Transforming Cleansing Oil

Ingredients:

• Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil): the main cleansing oil. It dissolves makeup, sunscreen and the day’s oil buildup. We chose it because it’s gentle, soft on the skin, and suits most skin types.
• Camellia Seed Oil (Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil): a light, silky oil that rinses clean. Used for centuries in Japanese skin care, it’s rich in oleic acid and antioxidants. It’s the star of this cleanser because it leaves skin soft rather than greasy.
• Polyglyceryl-4 Oleate: the ingredient that makes the oil “transform.” When you add water, it turns the oil into a light milk that rinses away completely, with no hot cloth needed. It’s derived from vegetable glycerin and plant fatty acids.
• Passionfruit Seed Oil (Passiflora Edulis Seed Oil): a lightweight oil high in linoleic acid. We added it to help keep skin feeling balanced and comfortable after cleansing.
• Castor Oil (Ricinus Communis Seed Oil): a small amount helps lift stubborn makeup and long-wear products.
• Vitamin E (Tocopherol): an antioxidant that protects the oils from going rancid, keeping your cleanser fresh.
• Bergamot Essential Oil (Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Peel Oil): a bright, uplifting citrus note. Because the cleanser rinses off, it doesn’t stay on your skin.
• Lavender Essential Oil (Lavandula Angustifolia Oil): a calming, familiar scent that softens the blend.
• Clary Sage Essential Oil (Salvia Sclarea Oil): a soft, herbal note that rounds out the scent.
• Linalool, Limonene: naturally occurring in the essential oils above and listed for those with fragrance sensitivities.

Packaging: 30 mL airless pump bottle. It keeps air and fingers out of the oil, so your cleanser stays fresh to the last drop.

Dual-Action Ritual Cloth (sold on its own or as a set with the oil): organic cotton muslin on one side for gentle exfoliation and soft microfibre on the other to lift away every trace of makeup. Reusable and machine washable.
